How WMSDiag handles the diagnostic data you submit. Last updated 2026-09-11.
Identity
Sign-in uses Google or Microsoft. WMSDiag stores your verified email, display name and the identity provider stable subject id to authenticate you and associate activity with your account and workspace. It does not receive your password.
Diagnostic uploads
Traces and support bundles routinely contain operational data — SQL, command arguments, user and warehouse identifiers, host details.
- Your uploaded file is kept for re-runs by default, on the web server only, until your analysis result expires — how long that is depends on your plan. Untick Keep my file for re-runs at upload to have it deleted as soon as analysis finishes instead.
- You can delete an uploaded file at any time from your workspace — one file, or all of them — and the analysis result is kept. Deletion is recorded on the job event history.
- If analysis fails, the raw file is held briefly (about a day) so the failure can be diagnosed, then deleted.
- The diagnostic worker holds its working copy only while it is processing a file, then deletes it.
- Secret-like values (passwords, tokens, bearer credentials, connection-string passwords) are redacted during parsing before any result is stored.
Processing
Parsing is deterministic and runs on WMSDiag infrastructure and a private worker. Facts are extracted by code, not by a language model. Where AI interpretation is offered it is grounded only in evidence already extracted from your file. Your files and results are never used to train models and are not shared with third parties, except infrastructure providers (hosting, database) acting under contract.
Your controls
- Untick the retain option at upload for immediate deletion after analysis.
- Delete one file, or every uploaded file, from your workspace.
- Email support@wmsdiag.com to request deletion of results or your account.
